“What I Wish I’d Known” Panel

all-nighter graphic

Friday night, a few dozen students gathered together for an All-Nighter at the church building from 8-8. We kicked the evening off with a great panel of adults who shared with them about “what they wish they had known” back in middle and high school. For those that weren’t able to join us that evening, we wanted to share their counsel with you in hopes that it encourages you (or your son or daughter) as much as it did for those who were actually there. The audio file below is a recording of the panel. The participants–in the order in which you will hear from them–were Kyle Alcorn, Tobe Forshtay, Aubrey Alcorn, and Hannah Smith. Pastor Marc served as a moderator of the discussion and interjected thoughts along the way too. Enjoy! Note: I (Marc) almost forgot to start this recording initially, so it begins right as Kyle is starting to share his thoughts (he was the first to go). Also, at the end of the recording are some rules and scheduling stuff I shared with the students for the rest of the All-Nighter that probably aren’t worth the time to listen to…So listen accordingly!
